Hi! My name is Tara Clifford and like so many other Australians I have moved to London to relish the opportunity to see more of the world.
My obsession with travel and Europe in general though is nothing new. My love of exploring truly began in 2009 when I went to Europe for the first time. In the span of a little less than 6 weeks, my mind was opened to the endless possibilities in life when we encounter different people, places and experiences.
Since then I have lived in the Southern Spanish city of Granada to ‘study’ for a year in 2011 and then moved back to work as an English language assistant in Madrid for 7 months in 2013.
Taking every opportunity to travel between now and then, I have been fortunate enough to have visited 37 countries across Europe, South America, Asia and Africa – and plan to see as much of the world as I can before I eventually make the journey back home to Sydney, whenever that may be.
Every time I travel I take a journal with me and have now filled countless. It’s been a long time coming that I put it out there for the world to share in my stories and anecdotes that will hopefully encourage you to share your experiences and life musings with me too.
Based in Notting Hill, this is where I will document my experiences as I use it as a base for my adventures and get to know the ins and outs of London town.
I hope you enjoy it and perhaps even become inspired for your own new adventures.
