Hi! My name is Tara Clifford and like many other Australians I have recently moved to London to take up the opportunity to see and learn more about the world and myself.
My obsession with travel and Europe in general though is nothing new. My love of exploring truly began in 2009 when I went to Europe for the first time at the age of 19 where my mind was opened to the endless possibilities in life when we encounter different people, places and experiences.
Since then I lived in the Southern Spanish city of Granada to ‘study’ for a year in 2011 and then moved back to work as an English language assistant in Madrid for 7 months in 2013.
Taking every opportunity to travel between now and then, I have been fortunate enough to have visited 35 countries across Europe, South America, Asia and Africa – and plan to get to at least 40+ by the time I have to journey back home to Sydney.
Every time I travel I take a journal with me and have now filled countless. It’s been a long time coming that I put it out there for the world to share in my travel stories and anecdotes that will hopefully encourage you to share your experiences and life musings with me too.
Based in Notting Hill, this is where I hope to document my experiences as I get to know the city, meet people and find my calling – whatever that may be.
I hope you enjoy it, and perhaps even become inspired for your own new adventures.
I would love to hear from you so feel free to comment or ask any questions.
